Waterproofing
Waterproofing is a fabric’s capacity to prevent water from penetrating the garment. A fabric’s water resistance is expressed in mm (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2,000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2,000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower).
Our Ultralight Cycling Jacket is waterproof up to 2,000 mm.

Component breathability
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on the ISO 11092 standard).
The lower the resistance, the more the fabric will let perspiration escape, and the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable material
The RET of our Ultralight Cycling Jacket is 6.

Our product design team is based at the Btwin Village in Lille, France. All year round, we develop new, easy-to-use products that look great and have all the technical features you need for your cycling experience.
We test our products in the field since we are convinced that subjecting our products to real-world conditions, like those you experience on your bike, is the only way we can continuously improve our products.
